One prompt, pasted into Claude Code, and you're ready to make your first video.
Copy the prompt, paste it into Claude Code, and it sets everything up for you: it installs what's missing, checks each step, and then asks what your first video should be. Curious what it says? Read the prompt first.
what you need
- A Mac. rapid makes its videos right there, on your own machine.
- Claude Code, signed in. That's where you'll paste the prompt, and where you'll talk to rapid after.
- A few free tools rapid works with: Node and pnpm, Git, Google Chrome, and ffmpeg. You don't need to know what they are. Claude installs any that are missing with Homebrew (and shows you the one command to add Homebrew if your Mac lacks it), and stops to ask you only when something needs your password.
for the techs
Rather type every command yourself? The install guide has each step, from the prerequisites to the plugin. Your first video starts one from a terminal, and the pane covers the /rapid command.
